Sainte-Claire, QC, June 30, 2010 – Village Tours and Travel of Wichita, Kansas, recently added a 2009 Prevost H3-45 to its fleet. Jeff Arensdorf, co-owner and Vice President, explained that the H3-45 was an obvious choice given that the company already owns 17 of the model known as the “ultimate touring coach.”
“Our mechanics and drivers think highly of them, which is important to us,” he said. “And we like the H3-45’s proven quality,” he added. “We traded an older Prevost in conjunction with this purchase and were pleased with how well it had maintained its value over a 14 year period.” Along with fire suppression, tire pressure monitoring, and electronic stability program (ESP) systems, Village Tours’s new H3-45 is equipped with Prevost Liaison, an advanced fleet management option involving Web-based telematics technology that is proprietary to Prevost. Using a network of 30 low-orbiting satellites—a distinct advantage over cellular or geostationary satellite technology—the company can remain in contact with its Liaison-equipped coaches regardless of their locations in “We run numerous charters and offer over 200 tours a year,” Mr. Arensdorf noted. “This coach will serve as one of our flagship vehicles for those extensive trips. That’s why we also chose to equip it with 52 seats for greater legroom and increased passenger comfort.” Village About Prevost Prevost is a leading manufacturer of premium intercity touring coaches and the world leader in the production of bus shells for high-end motorhome and specialty conversion.
