Message Regarding Temporary Closures During Covid-19 Crisis

During this extremely volatile and challenging time for all of us, it is essential for Prevost to maintain transparency in communication with its customers.

Prevost and its partners, whether customers or suppliers, have all experienced major disruptions in the past few days. Customers, such as our coach operators, are struggling as tourism and ridership have considerably fallen across all market segments. This also affects new coaches, pre-owned and services sales.

The highly unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on global economies are prompting governments around the world to tighten restrictions to slow the spread of the virus.

Based on the announcement made yesterday by the Quebec Government, where all non-essential businesses in Quebec are to close for a three weeks period, as of midnight Tuesday, March 24, 2020, we are forced to take special measures and cease all Quebec based operations in order to ensure compliance.

Prevost's service centers and the aftermarket parts distribution warehouses remain open for business for the moment, which have been included in the most recent lists of essential services authorized to continue their operations by the different governments in North America. While technical functions continue in service bays and parts warehouses, Prevost must reduce the personnel on site to the minimum necessary to ensure the continuation of essential operations, while respecting government directives.
